The Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) has released a how-to guide for celebrating respiratory therapists during RT week 2020.

“Although the format of RT Week celebrations may have changed due to the pandemic, the pride we all share in the profession has not” said CSRT CEO Dr. Andrew West in a press release.

“Thank you for your steadfast professionalism and dedication through what has been a very challenging year. The CSRT will also remain steadfast in its support for you, for all RTs, and the RT profession as we work together to face the challenges ahead.”

The guide provides ideas and inspiration to help recognize the respiratory therapist profession. Hospitals and organizations are also sharing images and messages of support via Twitter, using the hashtag #RTWeek2020.
